How-To Article: A Note About Hooks vs. Nails Wherever possible, we recommend you hang your items using picture hooks instead of nails. This makes it easier to adjust the item on the wall as well as hanging it more securely. Please note the positioning for each option below. If using a nail (without a hook)... Hammer the nail directly into the mark on the wall. If using a picture hook... Align the bottom edge of the hook with the mark and secure the hook to the wall.
